Sassy, empathetic and fierce, Black Widow has been a forever favourite. Despite Iron Man and Captain America as leaders of the Avengers, she has always emerged stronger.
Apart from Hawkeye, she is the only character who does not possess mythical and scientific powers. Even without an unbreakable iron suit, she emerges victorious from most fights due to her undeterred willpower.
In The Avengers, she was introduced to the world as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent. But she kept us hooked with the discussion with the Russian gangsters, where she left them baffled, saying, “This moron is giving me everything.”

Natasha was subjected to inhumane experiments since she was a child. Various references in the Avengers series and the Black Widow made it clear that Natasha escaped the ‘Red Room’, but not without damage.
The Red Room was a set up to create women assassins. In a conversation with Bruce Banner, she shared that she could not conceive. In the Black Widow, Yelena Belova, sister of Natasha Romanoff, said that they were forced to go through hysterectomy and other medical procedures which ensured none of them could ever give birth (take care of new mothers).
Despite all the hardships of her life, Natasha was the only Avenger in the team who could calm down the Hulk. It was her empathy and determination that kept the team intact when Thanos ‘blipped’ half of humanity. She was the only character who helped Captain America in the second movie and tracked everyone after the Civil War.
