Apart from being a model, she pursued her passion for creativity through acting in a movie and creating digital content. Not just a glamorous face, Twisha was very educated too. She had an MBA degree and established herself as a marketing expert working for corporates in Pune and Noida. The prosecution lawyers called her an intelligent, happy, and independent girl before marriage in court.

Who Is Twisha Sharma's Husband?

Twisha Sharma’s husband is Samarth Singh, who is an eminent practising advocate from Bhopal. It is said that the couple got acquainted via a dating app in the year 2024. After dating for one year, they got married in December 2025 in a lavish marriage ceremony. As per the claims made by Twisha’s father, Samarth was a ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing.’ He is reported to have been violent from day one of their honeymoon.

Twisha was born in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where her family lives. She had a very strong family support in the form of her father, Navnidhi Sharma and her brother, who have been spearheading the campaign against the administrative loopholes of the investigation process.

As per the statement by her father, Twisha’s in-laws were from one of the most powerful legal communities of Madhya Pradesh. Twisha's mother-in-law was Giribala Singh, an ex-District Judge. According to the Sharma family, they had not paid attention to early warning signs because Twisha wanted to protect her marriage.

Twisha Sharma Death Case Updates: Allegations of Dowry Harassment

The case involving the death of Twisha Sharma has become a major legal tussle characterised by serious allegations and investigative failures. As her father has accused the relatives of subjecting Twisha to severe mental and monetary pressure after she lost her job recently, the lawyers for the accused, headed by her mother-in-law, a retired judge, have alleged that the girl was a severe addict. Moreover, there were many procedural errors in the case, such as the body being taken away from its place even before the arrival of the police and the missing belt that could have helped the doctors at AIIMS Bhopal identify the ligature marks. In light of these and other factors, like the presence of physical injuries on her body, the Sharma family has vehemently denied the conclusions drawn in the locality. They have thus requested a second autopsy be conducted at AIIMS Delhi.
