Khushboo Varma, also known by her social media handle @diamond__girl30, was a 21-year-old model and influencer from Bhopal who had slowly begun to make her mark in the city’s fashion circle. With over 12,000 followers on Instagram, she frequently posts photos from her shoots and brand collaborations. Her last post, shared on 17 September, featured her modelling jewellery, while an earlier one from August carried an emotional caption: “Crazy how trauma isn’t your fault, but it’s your responsibility to heal.”

Friends and followers described Khushboo as ambitious, cheerful, and passionate about her career. However, behind her bright online persona, her personal life appeared far more complex.

Khusboo Varma Bhopal Model Death

Khushboo was found dead early Monday morning under mysterious circumstances, sending shockwaves through Bhopal’s modelling community. According to police sources, she was travelling with her boyfriend, Qasim, from Ujjain to Bhopal when she suddenly fell ill on the bus near Bhainsakhedi on Indore Road. Qasim reportedly rushed her to a nearby private hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.

The post-mortem report revealed that Khushboo was pregnant and had died due to a ruptured fallopian tube, leading to internal bleeding. The police have confirmed that the cause of death appears linked to pregnancy complications, though foul play and medical negligence have not been ruled out.

Khusboo Verma’s Family Allegations

Khushboo’s family has strongly disputed the medical findings, alleging that she was beaten and murdered by her live-in partner, Qasim, with whom she had been in a relationship for over 16 months. Her mother, Lakshmi Ahirwar, claimed that her daughter’s body bore bruises and swelling, suggesting possible assault.

Her sister, Kajal Ahirwar, added that Qasim had been violent in the past and had even assaulted Khushboo during a dispute two months earlier. Qasim, however, denies all allegations, stating that he loved Khushboo, that she was carrying his child, and that they were planning to marry soon.

DCP Mayur Khandelwal confirmed that the post-mortem found no visible external injuries but said that viscera samples have been preserved for forensic testing to determine if the pregnancy complications were natural or externally induced.

Who Was Khushboo Varma?

Khushboo hailed from Mandi Bamora and had moved to Bhopal three years ago to pursue her modelling career. A college dropout, she supported herself with part-time jobs while attending photoshoots and brand events.

Her family says she often spoke about making her late father proud and wanted to achieve fame in the fashion industry. Despite challenges, she continued to chase her dreams, earning recognition in the city’s local modelling scene.
