In a move set to shake up India's bustling two-wheeler market, TVS Motor Company has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024 Jupiter 110. This latest iteration of the popular scooter model promises to deliver enhanced performance, cutting-edge features, and a fresh design that's sure to turn heads on city streets.
TVS Jupiter 110 Full Details
The Jupiter has been a cornerstone of TVS's lineup for a decade, consistently ranking as one of the country's top-selling scooters. While the introduction of a 125cc version two years ago broadened its appeal, the original 110cc model has now received its most significant upgrade to date.
TVS Jupiter 110 Pricing and Variants
TVS has strategically positioned the new Jupiter 110 to cater to a wide range of customers. Priced at Rs. 73,700, the scooter is available in four variants:
- Drum
- Drum Alloy
- Drum SXC
- Disc SXC
At the launch, K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO of TVS Motor Company, expressed confidence in the new model, stating, "We have also upgraded the quality of customer experience at TVSM showrooms, and the new TVS Jupiter 110 takes that entire experience package forward. We are confident that the TVS Jupiter with its many first-in-segment features will further build our position in the two-wheeler market."
TVS Jupiter 110 Performance
Under its sleek exterior, the 2024 Jupiter 110 houses a refined 113.3 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine. This powerplant delivers a respectable 7.9 bhp at 6,500 rpm and a torque of 9.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm with the innovative iGO Assist feature (9.2 Nm without).
Perhaps most impressively, TVS claims a 10 per cent improvement in mileage compared to its predecessor, thanks to the iGO Assist technology. The scooter also boasts an intelligent ignition system with auto Start-Stop functionality, and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), providing a boost in performance during crucial moments like overtaking or climbing hills.
TVS Jupiter 110 Design
TVS has prioritised rider comfort with an ergonomic design featuring a spacious floorboard, accessible seat height, and an optimally positioned handlebar. The scooter's visual appeal is enhanced by a stylish Piano Black finish and distinctive Signature Infinity lights. Additional design elements include an LED headlamp, motorcycle-inspired front telescopic suspension, and large 90/90-12 inch tyres.
