Tulsi Vivah 2023 Date
According to the Hindu calendar, the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month is celebrated as Tulsi Vivah. The expert mentioned that this year,the festival will start on Thursday, November 23 at 9:01 pm and end on Friday, November 24 at 7:06 pm. As per the scriptures, because the Udaya Tithi is November 24, Tulsi Vivah will be celebrated on this day. The devotees worship Tulsi on this day and some also observe a fast for auspicious benefits.
Tulsi Vivah 2023: Shubh Muhurat
It is believed to be beneficial to perform the worship of Tulsi Vivah during the Pradosh Kaal. On November 24, Pradosh Kaal will be from 5:25 pm to 6:04 pm. Also, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga are being formed on this day. Siddhi Yoga will remain from Brahma Muhurta till 9:05 am. Amrit Siddhi Yoga will remain from 6:51 am in the morning to 4:01 pm. Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain throughout the Tithi.
Tulsi Vivah 2023: Puja Samagri List
To perform the puja of Tulsi Vivah, take a Tulsi plant, Lord Shaligram idol, Shaligram stone or photograph, a yellow cloth, a red Chunri, vermilion, Kumkum, Akshat, an earthen lamp, Ghee, flowers, seasonal fruits, Panchamrit, radish, sugarcane, sweet potato, amla, water chestnut, plum, custard apple, guava, Tulsi Vivah Katha book, and the book Vishnu Sahasranama etc.
Tulsi Vivah 2023: Puja Vidhi
Spread an altar cloth on a clean stool on the day of Tulsi Vivah and install the Tulsi plant present in the house on it. On another similar setting, install the Shaligram. Over both of them, make a pavilion using sugarcane. Keep a Kalash filled with water in between a circle made of seven mango leaves arranged in a circular shape.

Light a ghee lamp as you worship Maa Tulsi and the Shaligram. Spread the red Chunri on the Tulsi plant and offer things like bangles, bindi, vermilion etc. Perform Parikrama around Maa Tulsi as you hold the Shaligram in your hands. It is very important to circumambulate the Tulsi seven times. Offer them food and distribute it amongst friends and family as Prasad.
Tulsi Vivah: Importance
The tradition of Tulsi Vivah started when Tulsi Mata was married to the idol form of Lord Vishnu i.e. Lord Shaligram according to the scriptures.
