In a digital age, where everything moves at an unprecedented pace, hustling is the norm, and being chronically online is all around, artist and brand manager Stuti Sukhani’s collages aren’t just a creative choice. It’s her way of carving moods, moments and memories from the everyday – reminding us of the value of slowing down, pausing, and truly noticing.
“Collaging begins with fragments,” said Stuti. “Pieces are gathered from anywhere they can be found: magazines, newspapers, flyers, packaging, ribbons, receipts. Whatever can be cut and pasted onto a new surface.”

It’s a quiet ritual. The final result is multifaceted, with unexpected colours complementing each other, contrasting textures that blend in, and unrelated images coming together, almost as if they belong.-1763984278049.jpg)
Her process is simple, yet nuanced.
Stuti shared, “I’ll first spend time leafing through the material in front of me. Observing before cutting. Then, finding the seemingly unconnected images that fit with each other.”-1763984190961.jpg)
The process is highly instinctive for her, backed by her design knowledge.

“For me, this process is guided by a combination of instinct, drawn from the world, and a design understanding of composition, colour and mood. There’s no fixed plan, but eventually everything will fit,” she added.
At first glance, Stuti’s collage work is a little different from her other branding work.
The 27-year-old presently works as a brand manager at The Working Assembly, a design agency in New York City. Most of her professional work includes website design, UI/UX mapping, and crafting compelling brand strategies.
However, collages and her more seemingly creative endeavours aren’t all that different from her regular work, she explained. Her ability to see beyond the obvious and the ordinary shapes both her art and her career.-1763984256829.jpg)
“It’s all about reading between the lines and searching to see what may not yet be found and put together in this particular way just yet. That nuance — that skill of pulling things from different directions and finding how they fit together — is something that collage brought to me, and that I see has informed how I conduct brand strategy and how I put myself in the mindset of using strategy as a tool to build strong, differentiated brands.”
Her collages continue that conversation. They are dreamlike yet grounded, raw yet intentional, and it is clear that they have been assembled with care rooted in curiosity.
