Meet The Chief Guest For HerZindagi's Womenpreneur Awards 2023, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani

The inaugural edition of HerZindagi's Womenpreneur Awards is just around the corner. The awards will recognise women achievers from multiple business spheres. There are a total of 19 different categories for which women entrepreneurs can nominate themselves. HerZindagi's introductory awards are slated for February 23, 2023.

Ahead of the awards, we are happy to announce that Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon'ble Union Minister of Women & Child Development Minority Affairs, Govt. of India will be the chief guest for HerZindagi's Womenpreneur Awards.

Union Minister For Women And Child Development and Member Of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, Mrs. Smriti Zubin Irani over the years has been working towards strengthening women and child protection services in India. She played a key role in making child pornography a criminal offence through the POCSO Amendment Act. Apart from being a social and political activist today, Smriti Irani is a celebrated name in the field of media with over two decades of experience. During her stint in media, she featured in films, theatre projects, entertainment television networks and content for news in over four Indian languages. Irani has also authored a book and contributed as a column writer in two national dailies.
