Anyone’s dream job would be to earn thousands of bucks in a day, making an annual income close to crores. There is one such job in Scotland, but it has no takers. While the jobs seem quite luring, there is a catch.

Job Pays ₹36,000 Per Day

According to the Sun, the advertisement was for the role of offshore rigger based out of the North Sea. The person would be sent off the coast of Aberdeen. An offshore rig is a structure that drills wells, extracts and refines oil and gas and contains it until the content is ready to be brought to the land.

The person who would be hired for the job would be sent away from their home for about one to six months. They will have to work for 12 hours a day and earn a base salary of ₹36,000 per day, recruitment firm MDE Consultants specified.

The job listing also entails that if an employee completes two years with the company while working two shifts of six months, their salary would be beyond ₹1 crore. The employers of the job are unknown, but the advertisement clarified that they are huge players in the energy market. The person would also receive a holiday pay of ₹3,800 approximately for each day. One week of sick coverage is also available.

As much as the job appears enticing, its training is equally hard. An applicant’s training would include Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET), OGUK Medical training and Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System among others. There are five vacancies for which there are no applications.
