Parineeti Chopra & Harrdy Sandhu Starring Together In ‘Code Name: Tiranga’

In the upcoming movie Code Name: Tiranga, Parineeti Chopra and singer-cricketer-actor Harrdy Sandhu will play the lead roles. The two artists are acting opposite each other for the first time in this project and this is Sandhu's first Bollywood film as a romantic lead in Code Name: Tiranga is an espionage action thriller about a spy on a persistent and daring mission for her country. Chopra will be seen as a RAW agent who is on a thrilling journey across various nations. Sandhu, who is an established and popular singer, is all set to surprise the audience with his powerful acting. Chopra has shared a set of two posters along with the announcement note. In the first frame, she is seen holding a gun. In the next slide, she is sharing a warm hug with Sandhu. In the caption, she wrote, “Nation. Love. Sacrifice. Code Name Tiranga… Excited to be collaborating with my favourite Punjabi boy Harrdy Sandhu on this one.” Fans have flooded the comment section with fire and red hearts emojis. The movie is set to release in cinemas on 14 October 2022.

Code Name Tiranga, as per its official synopsis, is a film about the life of “an Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent, who is on a journey across many countries on an unfaltering and fearless mission for her nation in a race against time where sacrifice is her only choice.”

Code Name Tiranga also stars Sharad Kelkar, Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Deesh Mariwala. On the work front, Chopra has Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai in the pipeline. The film will be released on November 11, 2022. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Boman Irani are part of the project as well. She also has an upcoming film with Akshay Kumar.
