Miss Nepal 2023, Jane Dipika Garrett became the recipient of a lot of cheers and support at the prestigious Miss Universe 2023 pageant’s preliminary round held in El Salvador.

Nepal's bet Jane Dipika Garrett drew cheers from the crowd at the Miss Universe 2023 preliminary competition earlier in El Salvador. She was a total crowd favourite at the competition for all the right reasons. So Jane is the first ever plus sized entrant into the world renowned competition which got her breaking a lot of stereotypes related to body size, body positivity and acceptability.

Apart from now representing her country, Nepal and being a contestant at the sought after Miss Universe pageant; Jane Garrett is a nurse and a business developer. She is also a strong advocate for the cause of body positivity and women’s hormonal and mental health.

Nepal Crowned A Plus Size Miss Nepal:

The 22-year-old Jane Dipika Garrett is now representing Nepal at the globally established Miss Universe pageant being held in El Salvador in November, 2023. But she essentially was a nursing student from Kathmandu, who beat twenty other contestants to get the Miss Nepal title. She won the judges over with her charm and advocacy for mental health issues.

Following her win Garrett was quoted saying, “As a woman who is curvy and who does not meet certain beauty standards, I'm here to represent women who are curvy, who struggle with weight gain, who struggle with hormonal issues.”
