She started with her journey of content creation when she was in the second year of college. Being a bubbly kid since childhood, she always tried to do something new, creative and different in life, and that is when she gravitated towards extracurricular activities. Sharing her own experiences with PCOS and acne, she has created a safe space for women and men and has always encouraged them to embrace and love their skin, no matter how many challenges come their way.
Prableen faced a lot of criticism at a very dawning stage. These statements triggered her and that is when she decided to break these stereotypical conversations and judgements. She further stated “If I am comfortable in my skin, why do people have an issue with that.” That’s when she came up with the #NoFilter idea. The body positive influencer shared that she was never a Barbie doll junkie as a child and in fact loved playing with more masculine cars and toys. But, she keenly observed the magic of Barbie unfold as her peers played with their Barbie dolls.
Prableen told us that she loves everything about the Barbiecore trend but what she loves the most is the expression of the trend via makeup since the beauty and makeup world is her first love.
The body positive content creator mentioned that while she wanted to look like Barbie growing up, she knew that she was nowhere near that perfect Barbie doll variety and felt lost until she found her own kind of beauty inside herself.
