A source close to Hombale Films said, “There is “no truth” to this development. After KGF Chapter 1 and 2, and Kantara, the next pan-Indian film from Hombale Films is Salaar with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.” The source added that the film is directed by Prashanth Neel. Additionally, the banner is planning another film for 2023, the casting of which is not yet disclosed.

Hombale Films has become one of the most profitable production houses in India after producing the KGF series and the latest blockbuster Kantara. By gaining more than ₹1,100 crores in box office collections, KGF Chapter 2 became the top-grosser in India and set new standards for pan-India releases. Similarly, the mythological folk drama Kantara has gone onto to earn global recognition.
