The Southwest monsoon arrived 2 days early as Andhra Pradesh faced heavy rainfall on Sunday. With favourable conditions, the entire state will be experiencing a monsoon in the next 5-7 days.

West Bengal Weather Report Today

The monsoon season has already started in West Bengal. It is reported that the state will face heavy rainfall until June 6th, 2024, with the downpour strengthening in the upcoming days.

Kerala Weather Report Today

Ernakulam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Idukki have been put under orange alert. Wayanad districts are on yellow alert, expecting thunderstorms and heavy rains. Kozhikode, Malappuram, and Palakkad are on yellow alert, expecting slightly heavy rainfall.

Karnataka Weather Report Today

Bengaluru faced intense thunderstorms and strong winds, which led to deforestation. A yellow alert for rainfall has been issued by IMD until June 6th, 2024. With a 2-day early arrival of the monsoon, the state should expect heavy downpours and thunderstorms.

Maharashtra Weather Report Today

IMD reported that monsoons will soon arrive in Maharashtra in the next few days. Pune may experience moderate to heavy thunderstorms with rainfall till June 7th, resulting in cooler weather.

North & Central India Weather Report Today

The next five days are going to bring light rain, thunderstorms, and heavy winds to Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand due to cyclonic disturbances. But the heatwaves will continue in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Odisha, and Jharkhand. The conditions won’t see any improvement until June 6th, 2024.
