Punjabi singer Hirdesh Singh, popularly known as Yo Yo Honey Singh, has made headlines after appearing with his new rumoured girlfriend Tina Thadani in a new music video months after splitting from former wife Sakshi Talwar. Netizens have reacted to it and trolled him for the same.

However, there is no official statement from the rapper confirming their relationship.

Earlier in 2021, Talwar had filed a plea under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in Tis Hazari Court, and the case was registered on August 3, 2021 before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh. Talwar alleged that on numerous occasions, she was subject to physical, verbal, and mental abuse at the hands of Singh. She further alleged that Singh earned around ₹4 crore a month through his songs, royalties, and performances and that he would often be paid in cash which he never disclosed to her. She also mentioned his drug and alcohol addictions while accusing him of infidelity as well.
In August 2021, Singh had taken to social media and issued a statement refuting the allegations. He said his wife’s allegations were ‘false and malicious’ and also requested his fans to not draw any conclusions about him or his family while the case was going on.
Recently, it was reported that Singh has paid an alimony amount of ₹1 crore for his divorce settlement after the split with Talwar. The duo agreed upon a settlement amount for the alimony and maintenance on September 8, 2022, during mediation proceedings in Delhi’s Saket court.
