It is not necessary that you need to buy weights to workout. You can even use some household objects at home that will work as weights. Here is a list of what all can be used.
Cans
We all have so many cans lying at home so do one thing, get two similar weight cans and use them as dumbbells. The benefit of using cans is that they weight equal like dumbells unlike bottles.
Cartons of Milk
Milk cartons are also very handing when it comes to using them as weights. 1-liter milk carton does a wonderful job. Just stand firm, keep those abs tight and hold each carton in one hand. Keep the elbows by your sides and lift all the weight up till your shoulder. Now press the milk cartons overhead till your arms are totally straight. Do the same downwards on the sides.
Bags of Rice
You must be having uncooked rice bags at home. These are very useful when it comes to weight lifting. These can be used while you are doing your lunges as well.
Bags of Flour
Use these bags for doing your squats. If you have two bags then that would be even better. Hold each on one side while you squat.
Boxed Wine
Wine boxes are most of the time, 5 liters each. So you can use these for squats again! This will have your glutes on fire.
