Krystyna Pyszkova, who participated in the Miss World 2024 beauty pageant on behalf of the Czech Republic, was crowned Miss World 2024. She was crowned by the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska from Poland at the grand finale.
Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun emerged as the runner-up at the pageant. The event was hosted in India after 28 years. The 22-year-old Sini Shetty, who was crowned Femina Miss India in 2022, represented India at the event. The prestigious title has been won six times by India, Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017).

Krystyna Pyszkova is a well-known model and has studied for dual degrees in Law and Business Administration. According to the Miss World website, Krystyna has established the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation and remains actively involved in its initiatives.
She also opened an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania where she also volunteered.

The film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, cricketer Harbhajan Singh, the MD of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited: Vineet Jain, news personality Rajat Sharma, actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, social worker Amruta Fadnavis, Julia Morley who is the Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, Jamil Saidi who is Strategic Partner & Host – Miss World India, and three former Miss Worlds, including Chillar were part of the 12-judge panel for the finale.
