CTET Admit Card: Check Release Date, Exam Details, And More

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made an official announcement of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 admit cards. The exam will be conducted on December 14, 2024. Candidates are advised to keep track of the CBSE official website (ctet.nic.in.) to download the hall ticket ahead of the examination. Before the admit card is released, the board will also hand out a city intimation list, informing candidates where the exam will be held.

The CTET exam was earlier scheduled for December 1, 2024, however, following requests from candidates, it was postponed to December 15, 2024. Later on, the date was revised to December 14. Cities having a high number of applicants will observe the examination on December 15, 2024.

CTET 2024 Exam Admit Card

The board is expected to release the city intimation list around December 4, approximately ten days before the exam. CTET Admit Card 2024 will be released on December 12, 2024, on the official website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website ctet.nic.in for information regarding the exam.

The CTET test assesses the eligibility of the candidate to teach in central government schools, such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. The exam includes two papers—paper 1 for teaching classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. Additionally, the CTET certification now comes with lifetime validity with many private and state government schools also accepting them as a valid qualification for teaching roles.

Steps to Download CTET 2024, Admit Card

  • Visit the official CBSE website at ctet.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the CTET admit card download link.
  • On the login window, enter your credentials.
  • Click on the submit video to proceed.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout to carry on the examination day.

Candidates should stay informed by visiting the official website and downloading the admit card as soon as it is released.
