Rohit Shetty's pre-Christmas release, Cirkus, has been making headlines ever since it was first announced. The team shared the first look of the comedy-drama a few days ago and fans got hyped up. Now, the first trailer of the movie is out and it is screaming 'success'.
Led by Ranveer Singh, the Rohit Shetty directorial Cirkus also features Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent roles.
Rohit Shetty's Cirkus Is An Adaptation
The movie is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's 1982 play 'The Comedy of Errors'. The movie is set in '60s. The cast has shot the film mostly indoors on the sets curated around the 1960's era in Mumbai, Goa, and Ooty. The film is co-produced by Reliance Entertainment, Bhushan Kumar, and Rohit Shetty.
Cirkus Highlights
One of the biggest highlights of the movie is Deepika Padukone's surprise cameo. In the trailer, she can be seen joining husband Ranveer Singh for the song 'Current Laga Re'. The two can be seen shaking a leg to the peppy track with loads of energy. The dance track has electrifying beats and seems likely to take over our playlists soon.
Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Murali Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari can be seen infusing the story with comic calibre and funny one-liners.

Both Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma will be seen playing double roles. In the trailer, they can be seen always lost and confused. Not much about Jacqueline and Pooja's role is revealed in the trailer. However, they are surely playing Ranveer Singh's love interest in the movie.
