Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a crazy fan following not just in India but overseas as well. He has made his place in many hearts with his work and charm. But many know that there are certain sequences, frames when it is not SRK himself but his body double who fills in for him depending upon the requirement of the scene. SRK's body double is Prashant Walde who has his own identity. He has worked in films like Don 2, Raees, Dear Zindagi, Om Shanti Om, Fan, and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. In an interview with a leading media house, he shared a few things including his pay per day which may be equivalent to many people's monthly salary.
Speaking on his role in films and what exactly does he have to do, Prashant told Times of India that, “I am a handyman to directors whose films star Shah Rukh Khan. It is in his absence that they use me as a dummy to get cues for cameras and during rehearsal, to explain the actor and also for shooting cheat shots.”

What was it like to meet when he met SRK for the first time. He said, “Wo bahut khush huye. (He got very happy)”.
Shah Rukh has not worked in any film since 2018 so Prashant is for sure eagerly waiting for his next project. There have been reports that he is in talks with multiple producers and directors but he has not confirmed anything yet.
Another body double that Shah Rukh has worked with is Ashish Singh of Kannauj, during Zero. Singh shared that he was bullied a lot and ridiculed for his height for the longest of times and when Zero came his way, it was a perfect opportunity for a reply to all those individuals.

Singh is four feet tall, and played Bauua Singh. He said in an interview: "Their ridicule motivated me to do better in life. By the grace of God, my height became my biggest plus in life and took me to places that most people can only dream of. It was painful to bear all that mocking. Now, I am happy that those people treat me with respect and dignity."
Born in Jasmai village of Manipuri district, Singh did his graduation from Kannauj, in 2009 and then joined a six-month acting course and managed to bag three Bhojpuri films.
He was spotted by Aanand L Rai at an event in Delhi where he worked with several actors. Of course he had to audition and luck was definitely on his side. He was finalised as the body reference.
"I lived like Shah Rukh Khan for two years so that he reflects in my body motion, action and language. I used to reach the sets an hour before him where the cameras were positioned according to my height," he said.
Post Zero, the actor hopes he will get more work.
"Everyone from Shah Rukh sir to Anand sir praised me for my hard work. Now, I am ready to use my short height to reach greater heights," he said.
