Power, that's one thing, but thelove of family and of siblings is more important, is more powerful than any other power - at least earthly power. This quote perhaps sums up sibling love and kinship in the best way possible. If we look at the film industry, there are many famous Bollywood siblings like Kareena Kapoor-Karisma Kapoor, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol, Shilpa Shetty-Shamita Shetty and of course the famous trio of Salman-Sohail-Arbaaz and more who are pretty well known. On the occasion of Siblings Day, let’s have a look at the other side – at lesser-known siblings of Bollywood stars who may not be in much limelight but continue to be behind them as their driving force.
Kriti Sanon- Nupur Sanon
Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon made a relatively low-key debut with an advertisement where she featured with her. Not many know about Nupur, who is the younger sibling of the Raabta actress. Like all elder siblings, Kriti is also very protective about Nupur and almost acts like her second mom. In an interview to mid-day, Kriti had said that: “Nupur is one person I share everything with and she knows me in and out. Anushka Sharma-Karnesh Sharma
She may have become more active on social media about her life after marriage posting sweet nothings about hubby dearest Virat Kohli but not much is known about her brother Karnesh Sharma who also happens to be a film producer. Karnesh had earlier worked with the Merchant Navy and produced the film NH10 with his sister Anushka. While there’s no doubt that the two share a great camaraderie as a brother and sister, recently actor Nakuul Mehta had been mistaken as Anushka’s brother after a YouTube video had mistakenly pegged him as her brother.

Shah Rukh Khan-Shehnaz Lala Rukh Khan
Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima did not just have one son we know as superstar Shah Rukh Khan today. They were also parents to Shehnaz Lala Rukh Khan. Older than Shah Rukh by 6 years, Shehnaz holds an MA LLB degree but she suffered from prolonged illness after facing a mental setback due to her father’s death. Shah Rukh calls her the child of God who is very innocent and has revealed that his children love her more than anything.
Neha Kakkar-Tony Kakkar
The Kakkar sisters Neha and Sonu are pretty popular in the industry but they have another sibling who is also a part of the entertainment industry. Tony Kakkar is a music composer by profession and has been composing since the age of six, he had once revealed in an interview. Tony used to even write the bhajans that his sisters used to perform. Neha’s very popular album song Mile Ho Tum Humko was in fact composed by Tony Kakkar. The trio shares a beautiful bond and never fight even if they have creative differences.
Ranveer Singh-Ritika Bhavnani
Ranveer Singh is related to Sonam Kapoor’s family from the maternal side but not much is known about his elder sister Ritika Bhavnani. Ranveer Singh lovingly calls her little momma and she is the reason why Ranveer has a sweet tooth as she used to spoil him as a child by bringing chocolates for him. The media-shy Ritika was seen in an elegant avatar for her beloved brother’s wedding to Deepika Padukone.
