Bollywood Singer Kanika Kapoor was tested again to find if she was coronavirus-positive. The result of the test which came on Monday showed that the singer is still having the Covid-19. The test was conducted again at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences because reportedly, her family members were questioning the test that was done earlier. However, the singer is said to be in a stable position currently. Before she was found to be coronavirus-positive, Kanika attended two parties after coming back from London.
As per the media reports, as many as 63 people who came in contact with her last week have already been declared coronavirus-negative. A group of medical personnel made a list of around 162 persons, which also included around 35 people from Kanpur. The team is still trying to get in touch with other people who came in contact with the singer. A few days ago the 42-year-old star was booked for negligence and disobedience to the order issued by a government official after a medical officer complained against her.

The FIR was lodged at Sarojini Nagar police station. "An FIR was lodged at the Sarojini Nagar police station under IPC Sections 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant)," Police Commissioner Surjit Pandey told a leading news agency. Besides this, two more FIRs are likely to be filed against the Baby Doll singer reportedly, at Lucknow’s Hazratganj and Gomtinagar police stations because, she had visited at least three gatherings in the area which comes under their jurisdiction.

She has been giving a hard time to the medical practitioners of the hospital where she is spending time in quarantine. During an interview with one of the leading newspapers, Kanika alleged that the hospital room is not suitable for living as it filled with dust and mosquitoes. "I've been here since 11 am and all I've been given is a small bottle of water to drink. I've been asking these people to give me something to eat but I've only been given two small bananas and an orange that had flies on it. I am so hungry, I haven't even taken the medicine that I was supposed to till now. I have a fever, I've informed them, but no one has attended to me. The food I brought with me has been taken away. I can't even eat anything that's given to me as I am allergic to some foods. I am hungry, thirsty and I feel miserable here,” said the singer.

However, the Director of the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Dr. RK Dhiman rejected all her claims and said while talking to another media house that, “The hospital staff at her disposal is for a four-hour shift during which they cannot eat or drink because they wear anti-infection equipment. Every four hours one team is “donned off” their gear and another shift take over. The room is cleaned every four hours. Kanika Kapoor’s claims are all baseless. Kanika Kapoor has been provided with the best that is possible in a hospital. She must cooperate as a patient and not throw tantrums of a star in Lucknow."
