Amala Paul’s Cameo In Ajay Devgn's 'Bholaa' Confirmed

Actor Amala Paul, who has mainly appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, will soon make her Bollywood appearance with Ajay Devgn's directorial film Bholaa. She will make a special appearance and play a key role opposite Ajay Devgn, Ajay Devgn FFilms announced via Instagram.

Sharing a post, they wrote, “Glad to announce that Amala Paul will be making a special appearance in BHOLAA playing a key role opposite Ajay Devgn.”

Bholaa is a much-awaited Ajay Devgn directorial film. It is a remake of the Tamil hit "Kaithi", which was released in 2018. It featured Karthi in the lead role.

The film features actors Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles. The film’s dialogues are written by Shreedhar Dubey, Sandeep Kewlani and Aamil Keeyan Khan.

According to reports, Paul will join the cast of the movie in the next schedule. Bholaa is scheduled to be released on March 30, 2023

The shoot wrapped up in August 2022. Tabu and Devgn shared it on their Instagram with a picture from the film. Sharing the news, they wrote, “Look!! We finished our 9th film together!💙 #wewrap #bholaa @ajaydevgn @adffilms”

The Tamil film Kaithi was a story about an ex-convict Dilli, who tries to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison. However, an Inspector Bejoy-planned cocaine raid prevents him from completing his attempts.

The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and it stars Karthi, Narain and Arjun Das.

Paul has been featured in popular south Indian films including Mynaa, Ratsasan, and Aadai. In 2021, In 2021, she made a comeback to the silver screen after taking a brief break from acting with two anthology films, Pitta Kathalu in Telugu and Kutty Story in Tamil. In 2021, she also made her OTT debut with the Kudi Yedamaithe series. Ranjish Hi Sahi, a Hindi television series, also featured her.
