Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor Blessed With Baby Girl

On Sunday, November 6, 2022, Alia Bhatt gave birth to a baby girl at the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. The news was confirmed by Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. According to the media reports, Bhatt was rushed to the hospital in the morning and she was accompanied by her husband Ranbir Kapoor.

Bhatt took to her Instagram stories to share the news of her daughter. In her story she wrote, "And in the best news of our lives :- Our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir."

Alia Bhatt announced her pregnancy on June 27 with an adorable post. She shared a picture of herself with her husband Ranbir Kapoor looking at what seems to be an ultrasound sound screen. In the second picture, two lions and a cub could be seen. She captioned the post, "Our baby ….. coming soon ♾❤️✨."

Ranbir Alia Wedding

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Ranbir's ancestral home Vastu in April, 2022. The couple dated for four years before getting married. As Alia Bhatt announced pregnancy, Bollywood celebs as well as fans were overwhelmed with joy.

In Shamsera's trailer launch, Ranbir Kapoor talked about the wedding with Bhatt, "It is a very big year for me, a great year for me, I got married. It is a beautiful thing that has happened in my life. I used to say, in my films, that shaadi (marriage) is dal chawal.”

He added, "Shaadi is daal chawal for pachaas saal till you die. Arey life mein thoda bahut keema pav, tangdi kebab, hakka noodles bhi hona chahiye na. But boss, after my experiences in life, I can say dal-chawal is the best. My life with Alia is the best. My life has dal chawal with tadka, pickle and onions, it has everything. So, I couldn’t have asked for a better life partner "
