Eight years after they got married, television heartthrob and ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ fame Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda are expecting their first child. Excitement is seen among family members and friends who have recently organised a baby shower for the couple. Barun is known to keep his private life under wraps but pictures from the baby shower, hosted by his friends, gave fodder to fans who are posting comments keeping the social media abuzz.
Actor Barun Sobti and his childhood sweetheart Pashmeen Manchanda got married in 2010. A baby shower was recently organised for the soon-to-be-mum Pashmeen and was attended by friends and family alike. In the picture, Pashmeen is wearing a bright pink long dress with a very visible baby bump while Barun is casually dressed in a pair of denim jeans and blue colored shirt. Both sported badges which read dad-to-be and mom-to-be on their dresses.

Actors Sanaya Irani, Dalljiet Kaur, Akshay Dogra, Abhaas Mehta and Karan Wahi were all present at the baby shower.
Actor Sai Deodhar, who had attended the event, also shared a picture congratulating the couple. She wrote, "Congratulations love u pashmin n barun!!! #barunsobti."

Barun’s co-star from ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Naam Doon’, Sanaya Irani took to her Instagram handle and shared a sweet picture of the soon-to-be-parents with the caption, "From best friends to soon to be best parents in the world ... from sunny to soon to be sunny masi cannot wait for this journey to begin love you guys."
