HZ Food Review: Is Sultan At Radisson Blu Kaushambi The Next Big Thing On The Delhi Food Scene?

When I came across the idea of Radisson Blu Kaushambi, I didn't really know what to expect. While Radisson is an ace chain of hotels mapped across the country, I hadn’t really visited the Kaushambi property. Although I had heard decent reviews of the place with mutual friends hosting functions there. 

So finally,  I decided to go for it and figure out what this place is all about. And to my surprise, it went rather well. The experience was complete with the best hospitality, food, service and fun.

The Ambience 

Sultan is a true pleasure of a restaurant to walk into. Placed at the heart of an ace hotel The Radisson Blu, it has a happy and tempting vibe from the get-go. This eatery is the coffee shop on the ground floor of the property that also doubles up as a buffet restaurant. The interiors of the place are also well-designed in a comfy, cosy and spacious way. The icing on the cake is the skyline revealing roof set-up that creates the right vibe.

My Experience 

I had the best time and service at the property which is a sure delight to experience. The food, ambience, service and more floored me like crazy. Read on to know more about the goodies we gorged on.

The Starters 

I feasted on a bunch of tikkas including Hariyali Paneer Tikka, the OG chicken tikka and more for starters. The cheese balls and Asian-style fried chicken were juicy and all things yummy. The juicy meaty burgers accompanied to perfection with fries and salad were everything that a junk food lover would dream of.

The Main Course

For the main course, we had the delight of trying an Indian-style spread including the rich and aromatic Mutton Rogan Josh which went excellently well with Garlic Naan. Also, The Chicken Biryani tickled our taste buds in all the right ways. The Italian food including the Lamb Bolognese and the Pizza Affumicata were also something that we couldn’t stop drooling over.

The Verdict

I truly fell in love with the ambience and service. The staff and management at the property were ever so courteous, polite and generous. This coupled with michelin star quality yummy food sealed the deal for me. So it's a big big thumbs-up from me!
