Ingredients

  • 8 Bread Slices
  • ½ Cup Overnight Soaked Chickpeas
  • ½ Cup Grated Cheese
  • Butter To Cook
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Garam Masala

Instructions

Step 1
Begin by washing soaked chickpeas from water in a bowl.
Step 2
Place a pan on the stove and add butter. Fry chickpeas and add garam masala and salt to it.
Step 3
Cover with a lid and let it cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes.

Meanwhile, trim the edges of the bread and butter each slice generously.
Step 5
Turn off the stove and place 1 tablespoon chana masala on one slice.

Add 1-2 tablespoons of grated cheese and cover with another slice.

Toast the same hot pan with more butter. Toast well, until the sandwich turns crispy and golden. Serve chana masala sandwich with your favourite sauce.
