Here is an easy and mouth-smacking Pizza Samosa recipe to make at home:

  1. In a large bowl, take 1 cup of maida and kneed it by pouring water gradually.
  2. Make a thick dough and let it rest for a few hours. Meanwhile, prepare your pizza samosa filling.
  3. Take a non-stick pan and heat some oil in it. Add the cubed onions and saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add cubed capsicums and ½ cup boiled corn kernels and saute for another minute.
  5. Add ⅓ cup tomato puree to the pan and let it cook for 1 minute on medium flame.
  6. Add 150 g paneer (cottage cheese) and salt to taste and mix them well. Saute for a minute, turn off the heat and keep the mixture aside in a bowl.
  7. Add 100 g mozzarella cheese (grated or cubed), ½ tbsp oregano, and ½ tbsp chilli flakes (or as required) to the bowl and mix them well to spread every ingredient evenly.
  8. Take out the bowl with kneaded maida dough.
  9. Divide the dough into multiple small and round balls of equal size. Flatten the balls into thin circles and halve them.
  10. Take a small bowl filled with water to apply each half’s edge to stick the dough into a cone. Ensure they are sealed tightly.
  11. Repeat this process for each half after filling them with the mixture you cooked. Seal the open end tightly with water.
  12. Meanwhile, in a wok, heat a sufficient amount of oil to deep-fry your pizza samosa.
  13. Once the oil is hot, start adding your samosas until they are golden brown from all corners.
  14. Once done, drain the oil and place it on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  15. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or salsa sauce!
