Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1 tsp kasoori methi
- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- Oil for deep frying
- Water for kneading

- In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients.
- Step 2
- Add the oil and mix.
- Step 3
- Add little water slowly and knead.
- Step 4
- Keep in mind that the dough for pooris should always be slightly stiffer than that of rotis.
- Step 5
- Once the dough is ready heat some oil in a kadhai for frying.
- Step 6
- Make small rounds of the dough and roll out small circles.
- Step 7
- Once the oil is hot, slowly add in the pooris and let them fluff up and the strain them.
- Step 8
- Once all are done, serve it with a pickle and some nice tea.
