Ingredients

  • mango
  • melon
  • tomato
  • potato
  • apple
  • cucumber
  • 1 cup boiled white chickpeas
  • 1 cup pomegranate aril
  • 1 tablespoon of chaat masala
  • lemon juice
  • ½ tablespoon black salt
  • salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon imli sonth chutney
  • finely chopped mint leaves

Step

  1. Step 1:

    Soak chickpeas overnight in water and boil on medium flame. Also, boil 2-3 potatoes.

  2. Step 2:

    Peel cucumbers, potatoes and mangoes.

  3. Step 3:

    To give all fruits and veggies shape of a bowl, make holes in the center, using a fruit baller or a spoon.

  4. Step 4:

    Do not bruise each piece or avoid piercing them all the way to the bottom, else the filling will leak out.

  5. Step 5:

    Dice one boiled potato and loosen pomegranate seeds in bowl.

  6. Step 6:

    Take another bowl, mix diced potatoes, chickpeas, pomegranate, salt, jeera powder, lemon juice and black salt.

  7. Step 7:

    Using a small spoon, spread a thin coat of imli chutney inside the holes of the fruits and veggies. Then, fill them with the prepared mixture.

  8. Step 8:

    Lastly, sprinkle finely chopped mint leaves on them and your kulle ki chaat is ready to be served.
