How To Make Mutton Keema Parantha Recipe For Eid
Here’s a detailed step-by-step guide on how to make Mutton Keema Parantha:
1. Start by taking whole wheat flour in a bowl and then adding carom seeds, salt, three teaspoons of ghee, and ¾ cup of water. Then proceed to knead a soft dough. Next, cover the dough with a damp muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. Next, take a non-stick pan and heat the oil in it. Add garlic, and ginger, and sauté that for a minute. After a minute, add onions and sauté the mixture till it becomes translucent.
3. Now, add the green chillies to the pan and sauté for one minute. Add the minced mutton and sauté for another 2-3 minutes. After that, make sure to reduce the heat to a low flame and cook the mixture for 6-8 minutes.
4. Next, add the spices like salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and meat masala to the minced meat mixture and sauté for another minute or two.
5. Put the remaining ghee, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and the juice of one lemon in the mixture. Turn off the heat and let the minced mutton cool to room temperature.
6. Take the dough and divide it into eight equal parts, making sure to shape each portion into a ball. Sprinkle some whole wheat flour on the kitchen counter, and roll the dough into small circles.
7. Start making the paratha by dividing the minced mutton mixture into four equal portions. Take one rolled-out circle of dough and place it on the kitchen counter. Add a generous amount of minced mutton and spread it across the circle. Now put another circle on top and seal the edges by pinching them.
8. Now, sprinkle flour on the kitchen countertop and roll the dough until it's medium-sized.
9. Next, heat a non-stick tawa and place the paratha on it. Cook the Mutton Keema Parantha for 1-2 minutes on each side and pour ghee on both sides while you cook it for a minute or two more.
10. Your Mutton Keema Parantha is ready! Serve it hot with green chutney, onion rings, and lemon.
