You can make the pasta healthier by using wheat pasta instead of the white one which is made using all-purpose flour. Skip on the cheese or go low on it and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 250 Gms Pasta
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Minced Small Red Onion
  • 6 Minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 Tsp Dried Basil
  • 250 Gms Chicken Breast Cut Into Pieces As Desired
  • Pinch Of Sugar
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • Mozzarella Cheese As Per Taste

Instructions

Step 1
Cook your pasta at al dente but save the pasta water.
Step 2
In a large heated skillet with the flame on medium, heat the oil and butter.
Step 3
Cook the onion until soft and then fold in the garlic.
Step 4
After a minute, add the tomato, basil, chicken, sugar, seasoning and salt.
Step 5
Cook for a few minutes and then add milk, cream and then the cheese. Mix well.
Step 6
Now add the pasts and toss to make sure all ingredients have combined. Add the pasta water if it gets too thick. Serve.
