Have you got guests arriving in 10 minutes and nothing to offer them? Have you run out of mayonnaise at home? Well! This quick mix vegetable sandwich recipe is just for those days.
It is a healthy, quick and mess-free recipe for a sandwich. It has vegetables for kids, and its deliciousness comes from the creamy texture of malai (milk cream). Try it out at home and let us know if you really liked it.
Method Of Preparation
- Take a bowl and add two tablespoons of malai (milk cream).
- Stir the malai nicely so that there are no lumps in it.
- Add a medium chopped onion, tomato and cucumber.
- Add two tablespoons of corn kernels and a tablespoon of olives and jalapeno. This step is optional.
- Add salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon oregano mix (optional).
- Mix everything well so that vegetables are coated nicely with the spices and malai.
- Using a spoon, spread the vegetable mix on a slice of bread.
- Cover it with another slice of bread.
- Grease the surface of a grill tawa or sandwich maker with butter or ghee.
- Place the sandwich on the tawa and grill it on both sides.
- Serve the sandwiches hot to your guests with tomato ketchup or green mint and coriander chutney.
