With over 9000 tickets sold, the figure increases when we include the Canadian pre-sales. With the two combined, the Vidaamuyarchi advance booking in North America has crossed $300,000 (Rs 2.60 crore) for its premiere day sales.

The movie has minted a huge sum of 14.34 crore with block seats from the Vidaamuyarchi advance booking.
Vidaamuyarchi’s first-day advance booking shows a high and favourable occupancy in Tamil Nadu with 35% and the least in Kerala with 3% occupancy so far.

Ajith Kumar’s upcoming action thriller, Vidaamuyarchi, will be released on February 6, 2025. The Kollywood film has a star-studded cast of Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, and Sanjay Dutta, among others.
Vidaamuyarchi is a remake of the 1997 American film ‘Breakdown.’ The plot follows the story of Arjun, who sets out to find his missing wife, Kayal. The story continues Arjun’s journey and soon after his capture by a gang in Azerbaijan.
