What was originally meant for Chhath Puja 2025 has changed around three release dates, landed on a genre nobody quite expected from this pairing, and somehow ended up with a soundtrack people are already talking about before the film's even out. 1. A Genre Nobody's Really Tried Before

2. First Big Collaboration Between Balaji Motion Pictures & TVF

This is the first-ever collaboration between Ektaa Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever (TVF). These two banners are known for their different content styles. Wouldn't it be exciting to see two such banners joining forces for something mystical?

3. Panchayat's Director Just Went Full Fantasy

If Phulera is something you love talking about, and if you're a fan of the series Panchayat, this one's coming as a treat for you.

Deepak Mishra, the man behind the gentle small-town charm of Panchayat, co-directs this one with TVF's Arunabh Kumar. It is indeed quite a jump from a sarpanch's office to a haunted forest, but that is exactly what makes this project interesting.

4. Multiple Changes In The Release Date

Not once, not twice, but the release date of The Vvaan - Force Of The Forrest has changed three times. Since the movie revolves around Chhath Puja, it was initially supposed to release during Chhath Puja in 2025. It was later moved to May 15, 2026 and then to August 28 and now it is finally releasing on September 25, 2026. 

Three release dates in under a year isn't exactly reassuring, but the makers have blamed it on extensive VFX work each time, so here's hoping the wait shows on screen.

5. The Soundtrack Leans Into Chhath Traditions

The movie has released three soundtracks so far, "Samjho Na," the romantic track featuring Sidharth and Tamannaah, and "Chhathi Maiya," the spiritual track that weaves in Van Devi mythology and Chhath Puja traditions, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Shweta Tiwari. And their recent release is "Thummak Thummak,"  a peppy dance track featuring Sidharth and Tamannaah.

Whether The Vvaan - Force Of The Forrest lives up to its own hype after all these delays, we'll only know this Friday. What’s clear though, is that it isn't one of your usual Bollywood films with the folklore setting, the Chhath Puja thread running through its music, and a director-production combo nobody saw coming.
