Based on the 2002 Godhra Train burning incident, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ was released on November 15, 2024. The movie had a decent opening of Rs 1.25 crore on Friday and did pretty well on Saturday and Sunday. Vikrant Massey starrer real-life event-based movie ‘The Sabarmati Report’ hits the big screens on November 15, 2024. According to Sacnilk, the movie had a decent opening on day one with Rs 1.25 crore. Later, it grossed around Rs 2.1 crore on Saturday and Rs 3 crore on Sunday. However, on Monday, November 18, 2024, the movie witnessed a dip and earned Rs 1.15 crore.

According to reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 50 crore and grossed a total of Rs 7.5 crore in four days. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Sobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, the movie highlights the ideological debate between Hindi-speaking and rooted journalists and the Western-influenced and superior complex English reporters.
