Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's latest controversial venture, ‘The Bengal Files,’ faces a challenging theatrical release this week. The film has secured fewer than 500 screens across India, just two days before its scheduled release date, as per the Sacnilk report.
The booking numbers reveal a modest start for the third instalment in Agnihotri's acclaimed Files trilogy. Industry observers note that the limited screen availability may significantly impact the film's opening performance.
The Bengal Files Advance Booking Breakdown
According to Sacnilk data, ‘The Bengal Files’ has generated ₹14.50 lakh from advance bookings, with 4,935 tickets sold across 989 shows nationwide. The Hindi 2D format dominates the release strategy, maintaining an average ticket price of ₹229.
