Superboys Of Malegaon Box Office Collection Day 3: Adarsh Gourav Starrer Struggles, Earns Only Rs 1.82 Crore So Far

AAdarsh Gourav starrer comedy drama ‘Superboys of Malegoan’ doesn’t seem to be having a good time at the box office. Neither the film had a good opening nor it benefitted from the weekend, earning only Rs 1.82 crore, as per Sacnilk report. Directed by Reema Kagti, the film struggles to stay afloat with earnings dipping further every day.

The film opened with a collection of Rs 0.5 crore, followed by earning Rs 0.69 crore on Saturday and Rs 0.63 crore on Sunday, according to Sacnilk’s report. Despite opening day’s weak number, the movie saw a steep rise on day 2, however, that didn’t last long with day 3 witnessing a fall in earnings.

Superboys of Malegaon tells the story of Nasir Shaikh and a group of filmmaking enthusiasts from Malegaon. The movie takes inspiration from a 2008 documentary called Supermen of Malegaon, which showcased the creativity and resourcefulness of local filmmakers in the town.

Produced by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment banner, Superboys Of Malegaon features a stellar lineup of cast including Adarsh Gourav as Nasir, Vineet Kumar Singh as Farogh, Shashank Arora as Shafique, Anuj Singh Duhan as Akram, Riddhi Kumar as Mallika, and Saqib Ayub as Irfan. Gyanendra Tripathi, Muskkaan Jaferi, Anmol Kajani, and Manjiri Pupala also play a key role in the movie.

As per media reports, the lead cast Adarsh shared his experience working in the movie, ahead of its release. “Working on Superboys of Malegaon has been an eye-opening experience. Nasir Shaikh's story is one of sheer passion and determination—he creates cinema with minimal resources but maximum heart. Watching how he navigates filmmaking, with limited budgets, local actors, and raw talent, has been incredibly inspiring. It reminded me that cinema is not just about grand sets and massive productions; at its core, it's about storytelling and the emotions it evokes,” he said in a media interview.
