The light-hearted comedy didn’t seem to go well with the audience and critics with ETimes stating in a review that read, “While the performances across the board are compelling, the film's overall length is a drawback. A tighter runtime would have enhanced the pacing and impact, as it occasionally feels stretched beyond necessity. The songs, though melodious, could have been integrated more organically into the for a seamless experience. Leon James' musical compositions are a mixed bag, with a couple of standout tracks. The background score supports the narrative but doesn’t significantly elevate it. Nizar Shafi’s cinematography captures the essence of Visakhapatnam beautifully, adding a visual appeal that enhances the storytelling. Editing by Chota K Prasad is effective, though a more stringent approach could have trimmed the sluggish moments.”

Commenting on the mixed reactions to the movie by the audience and the critics, Sundeep commented, "Coming to the first half, everyone laughed. In the second half, 60% of people laughed, 20% didn’t laugh, and 20% were like ‘just okay.’ Please spread the good word about the film." Sundeep himself visited some multiplex theatres to see the reactions himself.
