Squid Game Season 2: All You Need To Know About The New Star-Studded Cast

‘Squid Game Season 2’ is one of four new projects that Netflix Korea unveiled as part of the Tudum festival in Brazil. ‘Squid Game Season 2’ is one of the most eagerly awaited programs which gained a lot of appreciation from the world. Its first season was a big hit and it immediately topped the Netflix trending list after its release. 

‘Squid Game’ became a global phenomenon for a year, and the show continues to break records till now. The series received a total of six Emmy Awards out of its 14 nominations.

Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo will be coming back for season 2 but this season will also have some brand new players joining the game, take a look:

Yim Si-wan was born on December 1, 1988. He is also known as Siwan. He is not only an outstanding South Korean actor but is also a member of the popular K-pop boy band ZE:A. He made his acting debut with ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’ which was released in 2012 and was a historical romantic fantasy drama. He is best known for his roles in Korean dramas like ‘Summer Strike’, ‘Misaeng’, and ‘Run On’.

Another new player joining Squid Game is Kang Ha-neul. He was born on February 21, 1990. He is also seen in some of the famous Korean movies ‘Midnight Runners’, ‘Waiting for Rain’, ‘The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure’, and ‘Forgotten’. He is best known for his roles in Korean dramas like ‘The Heirs’, ‘When the Camellia Blooms’, and ‘Insider’.
