Rajamouli revealed a poster of Priyanka as Mandakini on X (formerly Twitter). Sharing the poster, he noted that the woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage is back. "Welcome back, Desi Girl! @priyankachopra. Can't wait for the world to witness your myriad shades of Mandakini. #GlobeTrotter," he added.

Priyanka also unveiled the poster, describing her character as: "She's more than what meets the eye...say hello to Mandakini." Mahesh Babu, her co-star from GlobeTrotter, also shared her look from the film, writing, "And now she arrives...Meet Mandakini @priyankachopra."

The actor's first look from the film breaks the stereotype of a mainstream heroine; she is seen dressed in a bright yellow saree with guns blazing while standing dramatically on the edge of a cliff. The poster shows her firing her gun while maintaining her balance over the edge. This combination of traditional attire and high-octane action has instantly caught eyeballs.

While official details are under wraps, SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film is confirmed to star Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The makers have organised a grand event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 15. The film's official title is expected to be revealed on that day. Prithviraj's first look from the movie as the villain Kumbha has already been revealed. The event will be live-streamed on JioHotstar.

The plot of the upcoming film appears to be an action-adventure story about a "rugged explorer" (Mahesh Babu), who is on a mission through dangerous, uncharted territories to find a long-lost secret that could transform the world.

The film is inspired by the 'Indiana Jones' franchise and features large-scale action, pitting the protagonist against a powerful antagonist (Prithviraj Sukumaran) while traveling through wild landscapes, ancient legends, and many other obstacles. Some speculate that the plot is based on Theodore A. Morde's expedition for the "Monkey God" in Honduras.
