Kashish Pride Film Festival 2024: Know About The Event Date, Venue, Movies List, And More

Kashish Pride Film Festival is all set to return for its 2024 version! The only pride film festival in India aims to empower Indian and International queer cinema contributing to awareness, empathy, and acceptance of the community across the country and the world. 

The 15th edition of the film festival is soon going to take place. Ahead of the festival, here is all you need to know. 

Kashish Pride Film Festival Significance 

Kashish Pride Film Festival, formerly known as Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, is the biggest pride film festival in South Asia and the only one in India. It was started in 2010 to honour the LGBTQ+ community through the art of filmmaking. 

Every year at the festival, hundreds of movies are featured and premiered around the concept to raise awareness and be the medium of expression. 

Kashish Pride Film Festival 2024 Date And Venue

The most-awaited Kashish Pride Film Festival 2024 will return with a bang this year. The vent will be hosted in Mumbai across 3 different locations. The first venue is Liberty Cinemas where the event will be held between May 15 and May 19, 2024 the second is Alliance Francaise from May 16 to May 19, 2024 and the third, Cinepolis, Andheri West between May 17 and May 18, 2024.

This year, Kashish Pride Film Festival 2024 will be featuring 133 movies from 46 countries with a contest between 41 nominations across different categories. Here is a full list of movies that will be featured in the festival:
