The Dharma Production movie ‘Kill’ is all set to have its Hollywood remake. The director of ‘John Wick’ movie series, Chad Stahelski will helm the action thriller for Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. The original movie was written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain. Keep reading to know more.
Kill Hollywood Remake
American stuntman and filmmaker Chad Stahelski who is best known for his action thriller franchise ‘John Wick’, ‘Highlander’, and ‘Rainbow Six’, will remake the Karan Johar movie ‘Kill’ in the English language under his production company 87Eleven Entertainment.
“'Kill' is one of the most vivid, wild, and creative action movies I’ve seen recently,” expressed Stahelski. He added, “Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. It’s exciting to be developing an English-language version—we have big shoes to fill and I’m looking forward to working with Nikhil, Karan, Apoorva, Guneet, and Achin to achieve that.”

In a statement, the chairperson of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Adam Fogelson announced the movie’s Hollywood remake. The joint statement read, "Partnering with Lionsgate, the award-winning studio behind genre-defining action movies, has been incredibly gratifying. This announcement, coming before the original film’s release, is unprecedented and a big win for Indian cinema. We are truly honoured.”
Kill Release Date
After its successful premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness section and its feature at the Tribeca Film Festival, the thriller movie ‘Kill’ is all set for its theatrical release on Friday, July 5, 2024, in India and Thursday, July 4, 2024, in the USA.
