Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Day 3: Despite the stiff competition from bigger releases, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa's ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has managed to carve a niche at the box office, demonstrating remarkable resilience. According to the latest report by Sacnilk, the film’s Day 3 collection saw a slight drop but is still holding well. The romantic drama, which hit theatres this Diwali, has generated interest among viewers for its unique promotions and the star power of its lead actors.

On its opening day, the movie raked in ₹9 crore, a strong start for a film of its genre. On Day 2, the film saw a decline, pulling in ₹7.5 crore, a slight dip of around 16.67%. By Day 3, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ brought in ₹0.09 crore (till now), bringing its total collection over the first three days to approximately ₹16.59 crore.

Despite being in its third day, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has managed to maintain its appeal, with the total collections expected to rise, thanks to positive word-of-mouth and increasing interest from viewers. Although Day 3 saw a minimal figure, the movie’s performance over the weekend is anticipated to surpass ₹20 crore in India.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Vs Thamma Box Office Collection

The Diwali release season saw a direct clash between ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ and Ayushmann Khurrana’s much-anticipated film ‘Thamma’. Both movies share a similar release window, but their box office performance has been notably different.

While ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has managed to maintain a steady run, it has not matched ‘Thamma’s numbers. As per the Sacnilk report, ‘Thamma’ collected ₹24 crore on Day 1, ₹18.1 crore on Day 2, and ₹0.19 crore on Day 3, bringing its total to ₹42.29 crore over three days. While ‘Thamma’ is clearly leading in terms of raw numbers, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has outperformed several films this year and is on track to surpass ₹20 crore despite the competition.

With its steady performance and increasing buzz, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ is expected to continue gaining traction. The film’s unique promotional strategy, where Harshvardhan Rane personally sold tickets and promoted the movie on the streets of Mumbai, seems to have paid off.
