Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Day 8: ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ may not have opened with the grandeur of a big-budget Bollywood spectacle, but it has quietly held its ground at the box office. The Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa starrer, directed by Milap Zaveri, released during the competitive Diwali weekend alongside ‘Thamma’, a horror-comedy featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Despite the clash and a much smaller screen count, the romantic drama has managed to carve out its own space among audiences.

As per Sacnilk, the film’s emotional narrative and chemistry between the leads have resonated with a niche crowd, particularly in Tier-2 cities and smaller circuits. However, the film’s momentum is now beginning to taper as it enters its second week.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat vs Thamma

In comparison, ‘Thamma’ has already crossed the ₹90 crore mark by the end of its first week. However, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’s’ performance looks more respectable when considering its smaller scale and limited release. Box Office India reports that both films are underperforming in the Mumbai circuit, yet trade analysts maintain a positive outlook for Deewane Ki Deewaniyat due to its modest budget and sustained word-of-mouth appeal.
