Film Occupancy

In terms of audience turnout, the film recorded a country-wide average occupancy of 13% to 15%. The film performed best in major urban centres, with Lucknow (19%), Pune (18.67%), Jaipur (18%), and Mumbai (15.67%) recording the highest occupancy rates. Conversely, cities like Hyderabad and Bhopal had a lower turnout, with occupancy rates under 10%.

Clash at the Box Office: 'Thamma' vs. 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat'

Both 'Thamma' and 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' were released during the lucrative Diwali weekend and have received critical acclaim.

While 'Thamma' dominated in terms of screen count and overall collection due to its association with the successful Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' has been appreciated for Harshvardhan Rane's exceptional performance and the film's wholesome music. It has found significant appreciation, especially in Tier-2 cities.

The box office has been abuzz due to the competition between the two contrasting genres—a romantic drama and a horror-comedy—making it a strong festive season for Bollywood.
