The weekend surge came after a steady Friday collection of ₹1 crore, indicating that audiences were actively seeking out the film based on positive reviews and recommendations from early viewers.
The film's journey began with a conservative opening of ₹0.6 crore on its first Friday. However, the collections showed remarkable improvement over the opening weekend, with Saturday jumping to ₹1.4 crore and Sunday reaching ₹2.4 crore.
The first week concluded with total earnings of ₹9.2 crore, setting a solid foundation for the film's commercial success. The second week began with ₹1 crore on Friday, followed by the standout Saturday performance of ₹2.65 crore.
Sunday of the second week maintained the momentum with ₹3 crore, representing the film's best single-day collection. However, Monday showed the typical weekday drop to ₹0.68 crore, while Tuesday collections remained minimal at ₹0.01 crore.
'Dashavatar' presents the compelling story of Babuli Mestri, portrayed by veteran actor Dilip Prabhavalkar. The character represents a dedicated performer of Dashavatari folk theater, deeply rooted in the cultural traditions of the Konkan region.
The supporting cast includes notable names such as Mahesh Manjrekar, Siddharth Menon, and Priyadarshini Indalkar. The ensemble also features Bharat Jadhav, Abhinay Berde, Ravi Kale, Vijay Kenkare, Sunil Tawde, and Aarti Wadagbalkar in important roles.
