‘Avengers Endgame: Encore’ Box Office: Marvel Movie Opens With An Explosive Opening of ₹1 Crore in India

Marvel Studio’s iconic movie ‘Avengers Endgame: Encore’ has re-released in the Indian cinema. With its entrance it's giving an impressive opening day performance. Featuring fresh, previously unreleased scenes that directly bridge the Infinity Saga with the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, the re-release is setting a strong pace to dominate the weekend box office while competing with active domestic runs.

Avengers Endgame: Day 1 Box Office Collection

Driven by early morning screenings across approximately 600 shows, Avengers Endgame: Encore recorded an estimated net opening collection of ₹1 crore on Friday, pushing its initial India gross to ₹1.17 crore. Final figures are projected to rise further as weekend night shows draw stronger footfalls.

Presales for the film have made a huge impact on the movie sales. The re-release has secured ₹17.24 crore in advance bookings across seven show dates (₹13.74 crore excluding blocked seat allocations). Friday alone drove ₹6.50 crore in advance sales, highlighting high audience demand for the expanded cut.

Avengers Endgame Encore: State Wise Distribution

Maharashtra emerged as the top-performing territory, generating ₹1.02 crore (16% of the national gross). Delhi followed with ₹96.58 lakh, while Tamil Nadu logged ₹88.06 lakh. The National Capital Region (NCR) led city charts at ₹96.58 lakh, followed by Bengaluru at ₹78.41 lakh and Mumbai at ₹68.65 lakh.

English language screenings held the overwhelming majority, accounting for 77% of Day 1 gross (₹5 crore across 1,866 shows). Hindi dubbed versions contributed 13%, Telugu recorded 7%, and Tamil added 3%.

Avengers Endgame: Encore Cast And Other Details 

The Avengers Endgame: Encore features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, and Jeremy Renner. The main reason behind the re-release of the movie is to serve as a bridge towards the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday on 18th December 2026.
