According to an exclusive report from Telugu123, ‘Akhanda 2’ is expected to release on December 5, 2025. Initially slated for a Dussehra release on September 25, 2025, Akhanda 2 faced minor delays due to post-production work. 

Akhanda 2's production has been postponed, as announced by the production company official statement, which is excited about Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu's collaboration. The film is being produced by Raam Achanta and Gopinath Achanta under 14 Reels Plus, with M Tejaswini Nandamuri on board as presenter.

The statement read, “Akhanda 2 brings back the blockbuster combination of the ‘God of Masses’ Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu, a pair celebrated for creating legendary mass entertainers in Telugu cinema. We are fully committed to exceeding expectations and delivering a theatrical experience worth the wait. Akhanda 2 will not just be a film, it will be a festival of cinema.”
