Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Goa. He was 75. Patekar's son, Malhar Patekar, was in Pune and has left for Goa, sources said. The actor known for his powerful screen presence, passed away on 08th October 2026, leaving the film fraternity and generations of audience mourning his loss.

According to sources, Nana Patekar’s son Malhar Patekar confirmed his death. He was found unconscious at his Goa home in Dona Paula. He was rushed to Manipal Hospital, where doctors declared the reason for his death was a heart attack. He was declared dead around 05:20 in the morning. Even the doctors at Manipal Hospital tried to revive him for 45 minutes, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
