Aamir Khan And Gauri Spratt Get Married; First Look Of Their Intimate Wedding Out

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are now officially married. The couple tied the knot on July 5 at their home, ditching a grand wedding ceremony. Their intimate wedding ceremony was attended only by close family members and friends. The first photo from the ceremony has also surfaced on social media.  

According to SCREEN, a spokesperson for Aamir Khan also confirmed the wedding. In the first photo from the wedding ceremony, the couple is seen surrounded by their family members. Aamir kept his look simple and wore a cream kurta. Meanwhile, Gauri looked beautiful in an elegant ivory lace suit.

Earlier, Aamir’s children, Ira and Junaid Khan, were seen arriving at the wedding. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, who worked with Aamir in Lagaan and shares a good friendship with the actor, also attended the wedding. Elli Avram, Irfan Pathan, Raj Thackeray and Vir Das also arrived to support the newlywed couple.

Earlier, while speaking to the media at the screening of Rajkumar Hirani's Pritam and Pedro, Aamir revealed some details about his wedding and asked for blessings.

He said, "Please give us your blessings and pray that we stay happy and have a wonderful journey together. It's going to be a very small, intimate affair at home, with only our families and a few old friends from our childhood in attendance.”

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt were friends 25 years ago but lost touch. They reconnected a few years back, and their friendship turned into love. Aamir did not shy away from flaunting his relationship with Gauri Spratt in public, and the couple was spotted together at events several times.

Gauri Spratt is a fashion and beauty entrepreneur who was earlier based in Bangalore. She reportedly studied styling and photography at the University of the Arts London. As per reports, her paternal grandfather, Philip Spratt, was a British-born writer who moved to India in the 1920s and also participated in the freedom fight of India. She also has a son from her previous marriage. Currently, she is associated with Aamir Khan Productions.

The 3 Idiots star has been married twice before. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Ira and Junaid Khan. He revealed that he was in a tough place after his divorce from Reena. He then married Kiran Rao in 2005, but they got divorced in 2021 after 16 years of being married. However, Aamir shares a good friendship with both Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
